Procopio & Associates is a subconsultant to Jacobs Engineering on Florida’s Turnpike Maintenance project. Jacobs is tasked with the oversight of operations for the Traffic Management Center, Facility and Telecommunications and Roadway Maintenance Programs of Florida’s Turnpike and most toll roads in the state. Procopio provides administrative and technical support in the following areas:

Our Contract Specialists assist the contract development team in tracking and identifying expiring contracts, new and renewal contract development, conducting pre-bid meetings, administering proper protocol in contractor selection and processing contracts through the multiple channels required by Florida’s system. Contract specialists are also tasked with general administrative duties such as phones, scheduling meetings, minutes, order office supplies, filing, scanning, copying etc.

Procopio’s Permit Specialists assist the permits department in accepting applications for permits when a contractor needs to perform work on or adjacent to Turnpike property. Our personnel assist with the permit application, payment, permitting plans review, acceptance, inspections, close out and archive.

Procopio provides exceptional reception desk services, as the reception desk is typically the first exposure newcomers have with a firm. Our Receptionist’s core responsibilities revolve around answering phones, greeting visitors, providing visitor badges, and generally coordinating incoming traffic at the front desk. Receptionists are also tasked with general administrative duties such as schedule conference room meetings, data entry, order office supplies, filing, copying, as well as special projects.

Work Order Desk:
Procopio’s Work Order Desk personnel are a key part of the Facilities and Telecommunications division. They’re the link between the field operation and office management via a central database. They typically traffic a high volume of phone calls daily and route emergency issues to specific zone managers. Further, work order personnel are tasked with active invoice processing and close out.

Our Fleet Administrative Assistant provides a range of support to the Fleet Manager responsible for all state vehicles used by the team, including preventative maintenance scheduling and follow up, tracking motor logs, transponder accounts and gas receipts. The Fleet Administrative Assistant also assists the Fleet Manager with the procurement of new vehicles, data entry, receiving and distributing transponders, as well as assisting with the development of a training program.
